Sir Isaac Newton

Welcome to your learning resource.

Sir Isaac Newton was an English natural philosopher, generally regarded as the most original and influential theorist in the history of science.

Newton transformed the structure of physical science with his three laws of motion and his law of universal gravitation.

As the cornerstone of the scientific revolution of the 17th century, his works combined the contributions of Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo, Descartes and others into a new and powerful synthesis.

Centuries later everything that Isaac Newton has put forth continues to be direct the course of modern science.
